Cash prizes were paid down to fourth place in each division: £500, 300, 150 and 100; a £50 rating prize was also paid to the best finish by a player who started rated in the lower half and who did not win one of the place prizes.

The 2011 European Open is in the early planning stages, and will likely be held on a weekend adjacent to the Malta International Scrabble Open (MISO) as this year. Interested players should email Amy Byrne for further information.
