Division A

The top three players win again and stay on top. Nigel Richards (MYS) beats Dan Sandu (ROM) 479-333, Helen Gipson (Sco) beats David Delicata (MLT) 386-348, and Harshan Lamabadusuriya (Eng) beats Jojo Delia (MLT) 402-372. Theresa Brousson (MLT) beats Joanne Craig (AUS) 483-446 and trades places with her, climbing up from fifth to fourth.

At board 1, Nigel opened with HARMErS, Dan caught up three turns later with ARCuATED but stayed behind until Nigel made a two-letter fish to bingo out with TRIAZOLE (109).

An annotator asked "What's a TRIAZOLE?". The answer: "Three azoles."

Division B

Paul Mifsud (MLT) beat Nicky Huitson (Eng) 500-411. The combined score for their game (911) is the highest so far in this division.

Catalin Caba (ROM) beat Julie Tate (Sco) 365-359. Julie now leads in the "Tuff Luck" category: she has lost six games by a total of only 61 points of spread. She's currently 13-12 +129 and in 12th place, but if she had scored just 67 more points over 25 games, she could have been in second place.
