Repeat pairings are continuing in the top flight in the A division, and have begun in the top flight in the B division.

I am told that Pauline Cilia (MLT) is joining the tournament for an indefinite number of rounds, most likely until Dominic Borg (MLT) returns.

At Board 1, it's Helen Gipson (Sco) in a rematch against Joanne Craig (AUS). Helen is victorious in a 529-332 rout, briefly ahead of Nigel Richards (MYS). Nigel has almost as big a win in his rematch with Vincent Boyle (Sco), 513-385, and is now in the lead, 12-3 +2428 to Helen's +910. Nine of his 15 games so far have been 500+.

Two games back at 10-5 are Vincent (+192) and Joanne (-492), still hopeful at 9-6 are David Webb (Eng), Terry Kirk (Eng), Jackie McLeod (Eng) and Jojo Delia (MLT).

Nothing new to report in Division B. Jayne MacKenzie (Eng) wins 481-306 against Paul Mifsud (MLT), is now 14-1. Charles Micallef (MLT) wins 450-372 over Annemarie Holland (MLT), is still one game back at 13-2. Annemarie is in third, three games back at 10-5, and six players are at 9-6.
