Go to: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, Round 4, Round 5, Round 6, Round 7, Round 8, Round 9, Round 10, Round 11, Round 12, Round 13, Round 14, Round 15, Round 16, Round 17, Round 18, Round 19, Round 20, Round 21, Round 22, Round 23, Round 24, Round 25, Round 26, Round 27, Round 28, Round 29, Round 30, Round 31, Round 32, After the Tournament.

Chinedu Okwelogu (NGA) begins the afternoon 15-4 +970, Theresa Brousson (MLT) 14-5 +1698, Mikki Nicholson (Eng) 13-6 +1122 and Dan Sandu (ROM) +157 (!). On 12-7 are Helen Gipson (Sco), David Delicata (MLT) and Pramit Kamath (IND); behind them five players on 11-8.

Chinedu plays Pramit in the annotated game at Board 1. Theresa plays David at Board 2, Mikki and Dan play two of the 11-8s, Eileen Meghen (IRL) and Raymond Tate (Sco) at Boards 3 and 4.

Chinedu, Theresa and Mikki win; Dan loses. When the leaders win, the field spreads out a little further, so now it's Chinedu 16-4, Theresa 15-5, Mikki 14-6, then Helen Gipson (Sco) (who beat Vincent Boyle (Sco)) 13-7 +687 and Dan +5 (!).

The nicest word I've seen all day was Mikki Nicholson's (Eng) FAHLERZ# (another word for tetrahedrite) against Eileen Meghen (IRL), contributing to her 432-313 victory over Eileen.
