In this round's annotated game, first-place Mikki Nicholson (Eng) plays fourth-place Jojo Delia (MLT).

Mikki and Chinedu Okwelogu (NGA) started this round at 9-2, with three 8-3s behind them. They both played and beat one of the 8-3s, Mikki with a very tight win over Jojo, and Chinedu with a 524-280 blowout over Dan Sandu (ROM). That leaves Helen Gipson (Sco) alone at 9-3 after her 437-408 win over Simon Gillam (Sco), trailed by six 8-4s. Theresa Brousson (MLT) is at the top of those 8-4s, +1059, after a 606-328 win over Jayne Mackenzie (Eng).

At Table 8, Vincent Boyle (Sco) scored the highest loss so far this tournament, 487-501 vs. Pramit Kamath (IND). Pramit continues his meteoric ascent through the standings, from 39th place after his inauspicious 0-2 -300 double forfeit loss up to 8-4 +224 now and eighth place. Pramit is six places ahead of his closest Class B rival, Eileen Meghen (IRL).
