In this round's annotated game, second-place Chinedu Okwelogu (NGA) plays 14th-place Mohammad Sulaiman (ARE). Chinedu loses, 379-493, but Mikki Nicholson (Eng) and Helen Gipson (Sco) lose as well, to Raymond Tate (Sco) and Carmel Dodd (AUS).

Theresa Brousson (MLT) picks up another win, 472-459 against Dan Sandu (ROM), and now has the highest scoring average at the event at 472 points, nine points ahead of Mikki. Not surprising, given that she's had two 600 games and four 500 games so far. She's also moved ahead of Helen on spread by a lot. Mikki 11-3 +1088, Chinedu +985; Theresa 10-4 +1260, Helen +505.

In prize class B, Pramit Kamath (IND) is still in the lead in seventh place overall, 9-5 +163. Moving up behind him though are Kevin Synnott (Eng), 8-6 +667 and Joe Caruana (MLT) +69. Mary Doyle (IRL) leads C at 7-7 +188, a game ahead of Geoff Cooper (Eng), Albert Zammit (MLT) and Paula Docherty (Eng).
