The players come back half an hour early for a raffle in support of the tournament, then start on time.

In the annotated game at Board 1, it's Evan Cohen (ISR) vs. Mikki Nicholson (Eng) again. At Board 2, Carmel Dodd (AUS) vs. Helen Gipson (Sco) again. Evan is 16½; Helen 15; Mikki, Yi En and Carmel 14. Evan beats Miki, Helen beats Carmel, and Yi En beats Jojo, so the net result is that Evan is one game closer to victory and Yi En and Mikki have just traded places in the rankings.

In Division B, Margaret Armstrong (Eng) is Gibsonized and playing Anna Borg (MLT). Second-ranked Jim Wilkie (Sco) plays fourth-ranked Catalin Caba (ROM) and defeats him 421-375. Third-ranked Gila Blits (ISR) loses to fifth-ranked Albert Zammit (MLT) 334-477. Jim and Gila stay in second and third place, but now it's Jim 16, and all of Gila, Albert and Pauline Cilia (MLT) on 14 with only two rounds to go. Jim only needs to win one game to clinch second place.
