Scrabble Tournament players and directors are reminded that as a matter of policy, PayPal does not permit its services to be used for payment of entry fees to Scrabble tournaments. If you reached this web page expecting to pay your way to one of the hundreds of Scrabble tournaments held each year, we apologize for the inconvenience, but you will have to contact your tournament director, who will have to contract with a better regulated payment processor to accept your funds. Do not try to send your director funds directly via PayPal; doing so is a violation of the PayPal terms of service, and is likely to result in PayPal “freezing” the funds indefinitely, so neither you nor your director but only PayPal itself will have access to them.
